Continuing development of recent prints…patterns/backgrounds to be hand painted in, and potentially borders, more photos to follow when thats been done!

A couple of the early mono prints i produced for a project focused mainly around train stations and traveling on trains in general, i was spending WAY too much time on them at the time so it was always going to happen…
Some high res shots of a few of my woodblocks so you can appreciate the texture/details, and the work that went into these!!These are just an example, i made around 17 blocks overall, all contributing to 3 final illustrations (hence why these look like they’d print a nonsensical image!)

I know i havnt been posting but still crazy busy!Been making some woodblock prints to illustrate the book ‘The Bloody Chamber and other stories’ by Angela Carter, so heres the base plates for the first image, these are the Hokusai inspired waves,the castle from The Bloody Chamber will be on the skyline - more to follow!
